For those of you who want to root your Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on latest Android 7.0 Nougat, you will want to use Magisk root method so you can still use Android Pay, Pokemon Go, Snapchat, or any other apps that may not run with rooted phone. Rooting your Galaxy Note 5 with Magisk will allow you to hide root from such apps and also enjoy root at the same time.

For those of you who want to fully convert you Galaxy Note 5 or S6 Edge+ into Galaxy S8 Plus, here’s how to do it. I will show you how to install TWRP recovery then install the S8 Plus ported ROM. This will give you all new Galaxy S8 features including fully-working live infinity wallpapers, AOD, fully-working S8 Camera, S8 apps, s8 icons, etc…etc…
For those of you with a Galaxy Note 5 or S6 Edge+, you can now get a lot of S8 parts to convert it into a Samsung Galaxy S8. Of course, this is only our initial conversion and in the future we will be adding more stuff like S8 camera and other S8 features but for right now, it runs flawless and fast.
One of my favorite ROMs with Lollipop on Galaxy Note 5 was the “Sick as Hell” ROM. Well, now it’s back as an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow ROM.
Based on T-Mobile Note 5, the Sick as Hell ROM will give you WiFi calling abilities (when using T-Mobile SIM) along with one of the fastest performance that I’ve tried on a custom ROM. This ROM is HIGHLY recommended for those of you who want the fastest performance on your Note 5 while battery life also is excellent.
If you are looking for a solid T-Mobile-based Note 5 or S6 Edge+ custom Marshmallow ROM, definitely check out the Darkstalker ROM, which also can be installed on any Note 5/S6 Edge+ (except AT&T and Verizon).
Based on T-Mobile Note 5 Android 6.0.1 firmware, Darkstalker ROM brings you a ton of options during its AROMA graphical installation, allowing you to choose multiple cameras, launchers, and even de-bloat by not installing any Samsung/Google/T-Mobile apps you don’t want.
If you are looking for stability of stock Note 5 firmware but with S7 Edge panels and a few tweaks, you may want to check out the latest Viper ROM MM w/ S7 Edge Panels.
Based on latest N920C Android 6.0.1 firmware, the Viper ROM brings you full S7 Edge panels and fully deodexed ROM so you can easily install Xposed installer and modules. For root, you will get SuperSU and the ROM comes with speed meter for monitoring your internet data, camera enabled during call, call recording, rounded recents, pop-up notifications, and some more.
If you are looking for a good custom ROM based on Galaxy Note 5 firmware with S7 Edge panels, definitely check out Family ROM.
Based on SM-N920C international firmware, Family ROM comes with subtle features you may like if you want to keep the stability of stock ROM while getting some cool features like call recording, rounded notifications/recents, all apps enabled for multi-window, multi reboot menu, Viper4Android/Dolby Atmos, AdAway, and more.
