Galaxy Note 7 Conversion for Galaxy Note 5!

For those of you who want to get Note 7 software features “right now” (even though Galaxy Note 7 is not officially launched) on your Galaxy Note 5, you can do it easily with the CrissCross custom ROM.

Based on Android 6.0.1 SM-N930F Note 7 firmware, CrissCross ROM brings you all of the Note 7 goodies right there on your Note 5 including new S-Pen features, Smart Select, Screen Write, Translate, Magnify, and much more.

Of course, Note 7 also features full Edge Screen Panels and this ROM has all of that also.  Now, this ROM will give you pretty much every Note 7 feature except the ones that need hardware such as IRIS scanner and water-proofing.  Otherwise everything works out of the box and this is a great way to experience Samsung’s new features without buying a new phone.

This ROM is supported on all international models including SM-N920C, SM-N920I, SM-N920G, SM-N920K, SM-N920L, and SM-N920S.  You can also install it on T-Mobile Note 5 SM-N920T or Canadian SM-N920W8 if you use SkyHigh Kernel but calls with not work (no audio) but this should be fixed soon and I should have an update on that also.

Installation is straightforward, just install the ROM files and reboot, you can watch our step-by-step video tutorial above.

Installation Instructions:

First, boot into TWRP, make a backup ROM (if you want to restore ROM if something goes wrong), then wipe system, wipe, install ROM, and reboot.  That’s it!    Don’t know how to do this?  See our fail-proof TWRP installation guide first.

Hey thank you very much for this Rom!

Btw my battery is draining rapidly after installing it. I think a custom kernel will get me out of this.

So, could you recommend (or link) me a kernel for your Rom.

    Thanks in advance!
