One of my favorite ROMs with Lollipop on Galaxy Note 5 was the “Sick as Hell” ROM. Well, now it’s back as an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow ROM.
Based on T-Mobile Note 5, the Sick as Hell ROM will give you WiFi calling abilities (when using T-Mobile SIM) along with one of the fastest performance that I’ve tried on a custom ROM. This ROM is HIGHLY recommended for those of you who want the fastest performance on your Note 5 while battery life also is excellent.
The ROM comes with its own ROM control to give you a few tweaks here and there with status bar, back-to-kill button, and comes loaded with root apps like AdAway, Viper4Android, Dolby Atmos, and SuperSU.
(Sick as Hell ROM with Antutu on Android 6.0.1 scores 86,434!)
If speed is your thing then definitely you have to try out Sick as Hell ROM as it’s not featured-packed with a ton of customization yet it has been optimized to give you the best performance. The ROM also does come with AROMA graphic installer along with full de-bloating menus (run it after installing ROM) so you can run the ROM the way you want to.
The only thing I don’t like about this ROM is the default font but you can easily change it back to stock Samsung or your favorite font by going to Settings->Display->Fonts. So definitely give this guy a go this week(end) and do let me know what you think!
First, boot into TWRP, make a backup ROM (if you want to restore ROM if something goes wrong), then wipe system, wipe, install ROM, and reboot. That’s it! Don’t know how to do this? See our fail-proof TWRP installation guide first.
For SM-G920I or SM-G920G, also install call fix AFTER installing ROM!
For SM-G9200 or SM-G9208, also install Dual SIM fix AFTER installing ROM!
